Safari enquiries

The booking form asks for your name, phone number, email, country, dates, party size, trip preferences and message. It prepares this information for WhatsApp or your email application. You must send the message in that application. The form does not submit your enquiry to a website booking database or collect payment details.

Scenic Views Africa receives the information you choose to send so it can respond to your enquiry and discuss your travel plans. Please avoid including passport copies, card details or other sensitive information in the initial enquiry.

Safari finder and planning calls

The safari finder matches preferences locally in your browser. If you choose to personalise a suggestion, those preferences are added to your enquiry form. The call-request form prepares your name, email, phone, country, timezone, preferred date and time, and notes for WhatsApp or email. You send the prepared request yourself; it does not automatically create an appointment or a website booking record.

Visits and the heart button

The site records an aggregate visit count and the time of the most recent recorded visit. A session-storage flag helps avoid counting the same browser session repeatedly. Where configured, the team may receive anonymous visit-count email notifications.

The heart button uses a randomly generated browser identifier and local storage to recognise a heart already sent from that browser. The identifier is recorded with the heart count. You can remove local browser identifiers by clearing this site’s stored data; this does not automatically remove an existing server record.

External services

WhatsApp, your email provider, hosting services and other linked websites process information under their own policies. Hosting providers may process technical request information as part of operating and securing the site.
