Use this as a starting checklist and adapt it to the activities in your confirmed itinerary.
Ask for a final activity-specific checklist once your route is agreed.

Uganda Wildlife Authority identifies Bwindi and Mgahinga as Uganda’s gorilla trekking locations. Forest walking can be demanding, and the duration varies. Discuss your walking comfort and route preferences early.
Ask about permit availability before committing to a fixed route. Your accommodation should be planned around the confirmed trekking location.
Confirm the briefing arrangements, pickup, footwear advice and any support you may need. Follow the ranger’s instructions throughout your visit.
